The Martitime Action Vessels (BAM) are four offshore patrol boats belonging to the Spanish Navy that were built by Navantia at its shipyard in San Fernando \u2013 Puerto Real; they are based at the Military Arsenal in Las Palmas (Gran Canaria).<\/p>\n
CT participated in the project, developing a big part of the functional engineering and the detailed engineering.<\/p>\n
Built to replace the old patrol boats of the Barcel\u00f3, Anaga, Conejera, Toralla and Descubierta Classes, the BAM can respond to threats in low-level scenarios.<\/p>\n
These vessels specialise in patrolling and protecting missions in the Exclusive Economic Zone, carrying out rescue operations and providing assistance in the event of catastrophes.
