La capsule a pris son envol depuis l\u2019Institut Tata de recherche fondamentale (TIFR), \u00e0 Hyderabad (Inde). Elle a atteint l\u2019altitude requise en 4\u00a0heures, soulev\u00e9e par un ballon en polycarbonate tr\u00e8s fin gonfl\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne. Pour rejoindre la Terre, le syst\u00e8me a d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 un parachute sp\u00e9cial \u00e0 haute altitude, ce qui a permis \u00e0 la capsule d\u2019effectuer un atterrissage pr\u00e9cis et en douceur \u00e0 l\u2019emplacement pr\u00e9vu. Par ailleurs, l\u2019essai a permis de confirmer que le parachute peut \u00eatre d\u00e9ploy\u00e9 \u00e0 tout moment et que la descente peut \u00eatre initi\u00e9e \u00e0 n\u2019importe quelle altitude.<\/p>\n

Des images et des donn\u00e9es ont \u00e9t\u00e9 capt\u00e9es par plusieurs cam\u00e9ras et instruments de mesure pour v\u00e9rifier les \u00e9tudes pr\u00e9liminaires et la faisabilit\u00e9 op\u00e9rationnelle. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un jalon important pour CT et pour le tourisme spatial \u00ab\u00a0z\u00e9ro \u00e9mission\u00a0\u00bb.
